Mr. Helene began his career in the financial services industry in 1981 in Washington, D.C. at the Washington, DC firm of Bellamah, Neuhauser and Barrett. In 1989, he joined the Hunt Valley, MD branch of Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc. as a Senior Vice President of Investments. In 2008, Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc. merged with RBC Wealth Management and in 2013, Mr. Helene subsequently transitioned to NBC Securities.
Mr. Helene graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in secondary education and a concentration in economics and history. Mr. Helene served his country in the US Army and is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the 5th Infantry Division and the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment.
Mr. Helene specializes in tax-exempt bonds, mutual funds, and managing individual stock portfolios. His expertise also extends to annuities, CMO’s and direct investments. Mr. Helene is also available for consultations on a variety of wealth management planning topics, including qualified plans such as 401 (k), 403(b) and other employer retirement plans.
Mr. Helene provides individuals and families with investment strategies customized to meet each client’s specific needs, including wealth accumulation, retirement income solutions and tax advantaged investing. He evaluates every situation and customizes tailors recommendations and plans to provide sound investment options styled to each individual’s level of comfort. Mr. Helene carefully monitors and updates his client’s Wealth Management plans as life events or changing investment objectives dictate.
